At Villa Pantai Bali we have available to us the exclusive services of a professional English speaking driver with an air-conditioned motor vehicle. The vehicle can seat up to seven passengers, both driver and vehicle are available for daily hire. Hire charges are from Half Day USD$55 and Full Day USD$85.

Please speak with your Villa Manager, Ni Wayan if you require this service. She can put together full or half day sightseeing adventure packages for you. Local attractions include the Royal Baths at Tirta Gangga; the ancient “Bali Aga” village of Teganan; the Royal Summer Palace at Ujung; or further afield to the Mother temple at Besakih on the slopes of Mt Agung. Then there is Lake Batur and Kintamani where you can view the volcanoes and the mountain lakes; or closer to home the Palace of Justice in Klungkung and then on the way home visit the bat Caves at Goa Lawah.

We highly recommend that you hire a car and driver (although car rentals are available in Candi Dasa). Driving in Bali can be very dangerous for foreigners who are unfamiliar with the local road laws and customs.

If you prefer an alternative, you could hire bicycles in Candi Dasa. Cycling is a very cheap mode of transportation whilst increasing your fitness levels at the same time. Be very careful when riding bicycles on the roads in Bali, as they are very narrow and dangerous.
